Are jobs hard to find in Ireland, and where are the best place to find them, city wise?

I’m from Canada, and hoping to live in Ireland for a few months next year, with a work visa.
I really want to learn about the country, and soak in it’s essence. Any suggestions for good cities to find jobs?
Is Cork any good? I don’t care what job, just something to help pay for the experience while I’m there.
Thanks!
