I have been out of the Army for six months and received an honorable discharge. I was an E-5 and ran my own S-1(Personnel) section. My resume is fantastic (as I’ve been told). Why is it so hard for vets to find jobs? I know I am not the only one. I am just so frustrated, everyone has a “Support our Troops” bumber sticker on their car, but when it comes to actually helping one everyone turns their back.

I realize some people are going to tell me to look harder, but that’s almost impossible. It’s insane how many applications I’ve filled out and how many resumes I’ve sent out, only to have no one contact me. Yes, my resume is good, and yes, I interview well.

A Movie Studio will be built in my state very soon, they will be employing over 1400 jobs. I was wondering WHAT KIND OF JOBS DO THEY HAVE AT A MAJOR MOVIE STUDIO/ OR WHERE CAN I FIND A LIST OF JOBS AT A MAJOR MOVIE STUDIO?? I would like to do some research to get a job there if I can. The studio will be moving to this city because of the location to do movies in this state and also to hire lets say 1000 out of the 1400 and from the press conference I don’t think it will be a union workers right off the back due to the fact they are going to be building with local contractors and workers. My impresssion is to help the state b/c of the events that happen and to help people with jobs. I just want a list of jobs like i know they will have a food service, security and assistants but what else…….I may be qualified and may not but I would like to bump up my resume’ possibly to work there. Thanks.
